Jemma started dancing at the age of 3 at Amanda Restell Academy of Dance in Essex. She trained in ballet, tap, modern and commercial and completed many exams throughout her training. At the age of 18 she went on to complete a foundation year in Musical Theatre with Evolution college in Essex. Recently she has continued this passion for Musical Theatre as she has performed in amateur performances with SODS (Southend Operatic Dramatic Society) in their productions of Scrooge! The musical and Sound of Music.

 

She began teaching as an assistant teacher at the age of 16 and then decided to start her qualifications with the IDTA. With the IDTA Jemma has completed her Level 4 Diploma in Ballet, her Level 3 Diploma in Modern Jazz and her Associate in Freestyle dance. She is currently working towards her Level 3 diploma in Tap. Jemma has experience teaching many disciplines of dance including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Commercial, Musical Theatre and Acro. 

 

Jemma is also a qualified primary school teacher and has taught in the UK and internationally.
